Nutmeg is actually a hallucinogen!?

If you eat enough nutmeg it actually might start making you a little trippy. Nutmeg is made up of a compound called myristicin that works just like a hallucinogen if taken in large doses. The popular seasoning has been known to have mind altering effects. Want a cray night, bring the nutmeg!

White Chocolate isn’t Chocolate!

One of the best deceptions of our time , is the wonderful and delicious white chocolate bar. White chocolate actually has no chocolate in the bar at all, I know crazy right! In truth, white chocolate is really just a mixture of sugar, milk, vanilla, lecithin and cocoa butter. Tasty right?

Honey is actually Bee vomit!

Nectar collected from bees are kept in a bees stomach until they return to the hive. When they get back to the hive they vomit the nectar collected back to the hive and that becomes the honey we know and love today. Imagine getting drunk and being able to puke up biscuit spread! Gross..

We don’t know who invented the chocolate chip cookie!

The great mysteries of the world are what killed the dinosaurs, who lives in a pineapple under the sea, and who created the chocolate chip cookie. There are tons of speculation but nothing has ever been confirmed. Some of the stories include chocolate chips falling into a mixer of sugar cookies, and some say Ruth Wakefield ran out of nuts when making ice cream cookies and put in chocolate chips instead.

You could be killed from eating….Lima Beans?

If your dining with the enemy, don’t be fooled if her offers you a healthy vegetable like lima beans to eat. Lima beans have lethal amounts of cyanide when in a raw form. When we cook the beans all of that cyanide is cooked out. Death by vegetable is not the way I want to go.
