It’s an exciting time in my life right now because next year in 2022 I will be marrying the love of my life. What else could you want than to find your soulmate and best friend and share memories with them for the rest of your life. Well, there is one thing I would like and that is to meet Gordon Ramsay and have him marry us. I need all the help I can get, and all of the exposure that I might be able to achieve this goal! From owning all of his Masterclass cooking classes, countless books, watching every show, and building my culinary experience around his teachings, I am going all in to make this dream come true.
I remember a few years ago I applied to be on season 9 of Masterchef and officially meet Gordon Ramsay and take one the title of Masterchef. I made it through the rigorous interviews and contracts but was cut one step before flying t California to filmed judging in front of Gordon. Not making it to be a contestant crushed me and halted my coking for almost six months. Eventually, I pushed through, continued to hone my skills, and fall in love with cooking again.
I have visited many Gordon Ramsay restaurants in the US, each time hoping that I might get to meet my idol. I did get to see Christina Wilson, his executive chef for Gordon Ramsay Group expediting at Gordon Ramsay BrGR in Las Vegas. She is an incredible person on and off-screen (currently a regular on Hells Kitchen) and one of my favorite chefs outside of Gordon Ramsay.
I am hoping to tag Gordon on social media like Instagram, posting about our wedding food decisions, and relentless requests, I might make this a dream come true for my fiance and me. If you’re reading this and feeling generous, I hope you might share this to get the word out. This is something that would make the last year and a half worth it, and to do this while marrying my best friend would be surreal. I will keep you updated on my progress and post pictures if my dream becomes a realty! I have a little less than a year to get this done and hopefully I don’t end up like a donkey!
