Energy Drink Review: G.O.A.T. Fuel

I love a good energy drink. Some people like to taste wine, try different types of alcohol, I try energy drink brands. So when I saw G.O.A.T Fuel at GNC I had to try it. The local GNC store picked out the few flavors they had in the back and let me take them home. I try to focus on sugar-free energy drinks with fun flavors and low carbs. I had to see how this stacked up against ZOA energy drinks and my favorite Monster Zero Ultras.

Flavors

There are eight different rent flavors for G.O.A.T Fuel including blueberry lemonade, peach pineapple, tropical berry, pink candy, watermelon fruit punch, acai berry, gummy bear, mango passion fruit. For this review, we are only focused on a tropical berry, blueberry lemonade, and peach pineapple. The flavors are fun and bright, unlock other energy drinks that pick on fruit flavor.

Each flavor tasted great and did not have an after-taste normally associated with zero sugar energy drinks. If you have read my other reviews, you know that I am a fan of citrus drinks like orange. ZOA and Monster have orange energy drinks, but I am disappointed ted that G.O.A.T. doesn’t. The flavors they do have taste wonderful and have hints of green tea and a splash of ginger, which are the main ingredients in the drink.

Nutrition Info

G.O.A.T. Fuel Flavors

G.O.A.T. Fuel highlights using no preservatives, no aspartame, no corn syrup, incorporating electrolytes, using essential vitamins, and 200mg per serving. Gluten-free, vegan, and non-GMO, this drink should appeal to everybody, even if you are not the most health-conscious person.

I enjoy that this only has 15 calories, which for me is a bit high for a zero-sugar drink. It might be a drop in the bucket compared to a full day of calories, but I try not to drink my calories no matter how small. For those who are on a keto diet, most G.O.A.T. drinks only have 2 carbs per can.

Pump- Up Ability

Goat Fuel: Tropical Berry

With 200mg of caffeine, you can expect a decent amount of energy to come from this can. Just to be respectful, while writing this I am drinking another Peach Pineapple to power through. I have tried a can in the morning to gauge how fast it gets me going, but also late at night for a gaming session. I won’t say I had a burst of energy drinking these, but I certainly was not tired. I would not drink these before working out, but a late-night drive or a drive to work would be perfect.

Verdict

Overall I enjoyed the flavors of G.O.A.T. Fuel, the few that I was able to try. If you are not a Monster Zero Ultra fan, this would be a great alternative. I also am not a fan of energy drinks that only have 12oz versus 16oz. For me a like to sip my energy drinks and enjoy them. With only 12fl oz these cans feel like more of a large shot than a full drink. The taste of these drinks is great tasting, and if very cold can be mildly refreshing on a warm day. I still won’t say these will be my Monster Zero Ultra replacement, but if I want a small convenient energy drink on the go, this would be it. Grab your G.O.A.T. Fuel drinks and apparel here!
